If you bought the first Son of Dirt CD then you may have a clue about the 'Apoca - Resist' packaging, but this time the CD is accompanied with a Bonus DVD and housed in a special 'eco-friendly' gatefold card wallet. It also comes with a full colour A5 lyric book and A5 insert card. The package will be signed, numbered and personalised to the individual purchaser. This is a very limited release with only fifty copies being produced, the first album CD sold out before the pre-order finished - so best be quick.

☠ WELCOME TO THE BUNKER ☠

'Doomsday' will arrive on August 16th, 2019.

'The Doomsday Dirge' was recorded to be listened to continuously, as if it were one long song. It was all written in open C♯ minor on a steel bodied resonator guitar and has the same tonality and feel throughout, it was composed whilst playing the video footage for the DVD, so it works as a soundtrack as well as a collection of loosely themed Apocalyptic songs. I've split the album into six parts because some people like 'song markers', I've also included the full album as one long song (track seven) for people who want to listen as it was intended - without the occasional stops. This is how it flows on the DVD version with the accompanying video, and how it is best listened to in my humble opinion.

There will only be fifty copies of the CD with DVD available, they will never be produced again. The pre-order will not be shared on social media for at least two weeks after activation to give people who 'follow' Speak Up Recordings on Bandcamp first chance to buy the album.

This is a Bandcamp exclusive release.

OMG, late to the party but this is some of the best occult infused doom stoner tackle I've ever heard. Reference points include Sabbath (obvs), especially with the Ozzy-esque vocals but there's also the melodiousness of early Heep mixing with a more contemporary occult rock sound. It starts in the 70's and makes it to the present day. The riffs are huge but it's their way with a hook that elevates this from your average doom/stoner fare. Very wonderful indeed! egg-magoo
