"Shunning the normal, ruling musical orthodoxy, this is a truly unique bit of work, a concept sort of album based on a self-penned story bursting from the musical underground, filled with macabre characters, beliefs and thinking. And, as if that was not enough to keep the interest and surprise, he has delivered an album with only two tracks, both over twenty minutes long and each telling a profoundly disturbing story. In reality, each track is varied in tempo and texture, kicking off with an at times near-classical meter that echoes wildly, and a tad disturbingly at times, from track one, The Emissary, then with a continuing theme in track two, The Reaper." - Iain Patience, Blues Magazine, Netherlands
released October 12, 2017
This album consists of just two tracks both over twenty minutes long, primarily acoustic guitar with vocals.
Written, performed and recorded by Half Deaf Clatch.
A must have for any stoner rock / metal lover. Heavy Riffs, Dirty bass tones, Thundering drums, and the voice of a stoned god all mixed into a melting pot of stoned goodness. 9/10 would listen again... and again... HaydenOnTheCeiling
Holy smite. Phew. Umm.. Could I hear the album just once more?
Simply mesmerizing, which ends far too quickly, if judging by accounting mere experience. .flac on loop does not disappoint my fellow stoners. I really don't have anything sensible to say. I'll just hit play again. Cheerio. modifier
Heard this one when buying Classic Rock Presents…THE BLUES Magazine. I loved the track alot and desided to find out more about this artist. And so I did. I'm now the lucky owner of two cd's and hopefully there will be more. Many great songs on this CD. Troygutt
This is as sludgy as the sludge dredged up from the bottom of the black lagoon. Doom metal that hammers you into tiny broken pieces, Mastiff come crawling out of the speakers in there sludge doom metal style, it's excellent!! warren barton
