Dionysus Virus I don’t usually listen to music like this but I really enjoyed it immensely. I know the artist was exploring the idea of a black hole as a metaphor in music but the titles, the imagery and the music itself made me imagine a journey to and through a black hole. It really evoked the quietness and darkness of space and the inescapably ultra massive star destroyer.

Carsten Pieper More cinematic cello and slide slinging. As I said before, can't get enough of this. These songs are thematically based/inspired by black hole imagery, event horizon and everything. Thus, no wonder, that they feel more outer-spacey and less earthy than this EPs siblings which are often morriconesque themes for imaginary westerns... Favorite track: Beyond The Horizon's Shadow.

Solitude & Sin Gorgeous tracks, giving me a beautiful morning wake up. Like most of his music, every slow and solemn chord keeps you engrossed in the story and swept along on the majestic carpet ride. It's 50p NYP but no matter how tight money is you couldn't sleep easy giving it that. I highly recommend checking out his other work of varied styles, some with raw, gritty lyrics and vocals.
